More Changes!

Bet Mike Is happy!

Prices here show the customer's full price now even if you are logged in so you will have subtract all the prices in red to see how much it is to buy your own work.

It would be so nice if changes went onto a sticky, it's like playing a game of guess the new feature every day!

Gill, I don't seem to be able to view the prices in red anymore! All I see is customer price with no option below to see mark up and final price should I buy my own.

Nothing has changed on my profile. When logged in I still see the prices I would pay for my own work (without mark up).

Oooops, I can now see price details! I finally saw "Show Price Details" under the price. I think it used to be down below.
So, when logged in, it shows me my price to pay without the need to do the math.

*** I believe the price you see when you are logged in is YOUR price. It just shows you the math on this.

For me it shows the retail price on the main image page but when I look at a specific item it show the actual artist price. I think it's great.

looks the same to me. shows me my price - but with one dollar added despite the mark up in behind the scenes adding it up with a dollar less. the break down is wrong as well, showing me $30 at the top instead of the $37 or $38

its the public price i want to see on all sizes. most don't want a quote on the smallest sizes, i don't buy my work here, and i don't want to add it up wrong.

Looks the same on my end though I think the price used to be on the bottom.

In the price break down in red it's showing my markup as $3.50 more than what I actually have it set for. I never know what is supposed to be Canadian prices and what is supposed to be American prices. I'm thinking maybe I should switch the currency on my website to just American to avoid more confusion on my part.

Carol you can change to US$ at the bottom of the page under 'location" to see the markups you have set here but if you live in Canada it will default to Canadian $ everytime you log in.

I never need to worry about what prices show - no one is looking or buying.

This makes me look mad! I've just checked again and it's gone back to our prices as it was before! They must just be trying different things.

The markup shown in red includes FAA's markup to your markup.

It used to be $5 or 10% whichever is higher. Not sure if that is still accurate though the one I looked at was 10%.

i guess you either entered the twilight zone, or sean is doing something and you saw a possible future.

and here i was hoping that all i had to do is mention it, and it would happen. should have wished for a million bucks instead..

Thank you, Gill, and JC.

It has changed, but looks great to me. As JC said, I think price used to be at bottom. Now the price is at top (where it should be) with a greyed out Show Price Details. Clicking that reveals member price details - in red - as it did before. Much more professional looking page layout.

As to adding the numbers manually for a quote, irrelevant, subject to error, and a time-waster. Simply log out and look at the price. Even easier: copy and paste the link to another browser you are not logged in with and viola!, you see the price and details as the customer does.

That's helpful to know, Dan.

For price quotes I simply look at JCFindley.com on my phone.

Yes, going to another device, or Internet Explorer helps to see the "customer's" price!

Cheers!

@Roy,

I hope you do not mind my pointing this out, but your lead price on your smallest print is higher than mine, Mike S. or Jc's. Yet your prices do not notch up after that.
Showing people a very high price on an 8" print is not very persuasive.

I use the AW without logging in to see customer prices.
