New Member Question

I've heard you get an email when you sell something. Go to behind the scenes in your account to accounting and put in your email for a PayPal account. In Payment Information.

You will get an email from Fine Art America and the subject line will read 'New Order"

Also on your 'behind the scenes' page...scroll down and you will see a section called "Sales"

Payment is to your PayPal acct.


Payday is the 15th of the month. You will get a message from Fine Art stating they have deposited x dollars in your PayPal acct.

It is important to remember the following:

If you sell something before the 15th of the month...you will get paid the following month on the 15th..but if you have a sale after the 15th and before the end of the month...your payment will be delayed until the 15th of the next month.

Example...

Sale date - Dec 17th...
Payment date - February 15th.

Why? The customer has a 30 day return window which would carry you past the payment date of January

You can also look behind the scenes under "sales" as the emails occasionally don't come through for some reason and during the 30 days when someone can return an item you will not be notified, you can look on sales "balance" and you will see if something is returned as the money will be taken back off your balance. Hopefully that won't happen very often!

make sure your SS and paypal stuff is in there first. you get a mail from this site if you get an order, make sure its not spam blocked. you also can look in your sales area to see if you got something. i bookmarked that page.

Just kidding about hearing you get an email, re: my own lack of marketing, yes, you do get an email notification. It takes more marketing time and effort than you might think, but some do quite well here. If I can mention, a few of your horizons are not level, it might hurt sales and they might not print it like that, not sure on that.
