No Image Showing In Tweets On Personal Artists Webpage

https://twitter.com/Pantress100 No image showing in my tweets with link from my artists website, jenniferrobin.gallery . When I use fineartamericas website it has image showing, but that defeats having private webpage for solicitation purposes. Any suggestions?

What you're seeing is normal. The photos don't show when you Tweet from the FAA personal pages.

I have some on the page that did show from FAA. That is why I was wondering why they didn't show from my artists webpages

Is this a glitch that needs repair?

They always show up on the FAA site...but they have never showed up for me on the personal site.

The point of having the private website is to advertise in all the popular places FB, twitter, pinterest. etc. It makes no sense that the photo features only work for the site that has all the competition (FAA) and defeats the uses of the personal page they offer us. Any suggestions Abbey?

I know what your talking about, Jennifer...mine do the same thing. Some in here will tell you the photo doesn't matter, but it does. I always tweet from the FAA site and hope if when they get to the FAA site that they don't go elsewhere.

My tweets from FAA or my AW never show the image! I have to add an image manually on Twitter

Hmmm!!-And I thought it was me. Guess we will have to bite the bullet, or do it manually as Jessica does. Nice to know though; at least we have a couple solutions. None if we aren't aware though. Thanks for bring this up Jennifer :)

Problem with doing it manually would be than we loose the protection from the site and right clicking images, making images easier to steal. Of course we are trying to get them to our private sites so doing it manually is not having the image attached to the link of our private sites. And this gives us added work that most of us could be spending do something productive instead. What I don't understand is it works fine on facebook when using the private site. So shouldn't it work on Twitter as well? I'd hate to have to give up twiiter as a marketing tool as every little bit helps. Not sure how to report this bug to tech support.

I think (and I may be wrong here) that even though you see an image when you post to Facebook, it's still technically right clickable from FB, but it's a smaller, compressed image. Facebook is just creating a link with a version of the image you have here.

I suppose Twitter can't see or won't generate an image to display when you direct link, which is interesting.... wonder if it has to do with the 'no right click'. Does it work from your FAA profile?

I use a service called Buffer to manually create and schedule tweets, and I just upload screen res (even smaller than the 900px images here) with links to my artist wanted. It's an extra step, but I put hashtags and text in my tweets anyway, so I don't find it to be a dealbreaker.

I "Tweet" a lot when I post a new image and/or I m newly featured in a group. Up to a few months ago those "tweets" were shown as incremental numbers below the Tweet-logo on my profile page. Now, no #s are shown. I have sent emails to FAA but they have not responded nor been able to resolve this. It's all a mystery to me.

Ross, that may be a function of whether or not you're logged into your account. Maybe tweets only count if they're from third parties? (or from you, logged out and acting as a third party)?

Seriously, this really is all something of a mystery. Someday someone on the inside needs to write a user's manual!
