New To Faa - How To Reach Potential Buyers?

Hey all! - So far I'm really enjoying the site in the very limited time I have to be here - there's so many really creative, courteous and friendly people.
I'm very new at this on-line gig but not as a photographer/artist. I've been doing it for quite some time but knew I had to "get out there" more via the web.
Just wondering how to reach potential buyers when it seems like the Groups and Contests, etc. are pretty much self-contained.

also have descriptions for everything, more keywords, start people in galleries, have more work, and more work in each gallery. no one gallery should only have 2 images in it. beyond that you have to advertise and tell people your here.
