"perfect Effects" Software? Any Faa Artworks Using It?

I have used perfect effects a little and have had it on my pc for a couple of years but i mostly use Topaz or what i refer the most is to make my own effects. There are many programs out there now and i like to become skilled with what i have first before diving into others. I have a couple of friends that keep me up to date on the newest and coolest software. I photograph textures and clouds and whatever i think might make a nice background and then i will mix them sometimes to get the effect i am looking for. This is just one example. By the way loved your swans Rose!

Thanks Thomas for your post and info...I have so much to learn about mixing backgrounds..I don't know how to do that! Your artwork looks wonderful! Thanks for your comments about my swans...it's the first time I tried something like that, and it's one of my favorites now. God bless!

Tilt Shift Lens effect.

I for one love Perfect Effects. I am currently using latest version On1 10. My go to effect is Dynamic Contrast. It can really make landscapes pop.

An example would be this image. Processed in Lightroom CC, tweaked in PS CC015 with Nik Dfine2 noise reduction & Perfect Effects Dynamic Contrast.




I also use their B&W conversion filters, Prior to version 10 they were in the Perfect B&W module of teh Photo Suite. In version, they are option within the Effects module, This image was first processed in full colour in Lightroom, Perfect Effect Dynamic Contrast was applied in Photoshop and save. Then in Photoshop used Perfect B&W to convert to B&W and saved as a separate image.

Here is a little before and after. Note this is not just pushing a filter button. I can't remember everything I did to it but a combination of LR, PS, PerfectEffects. Dodging and burning.
