1099s Are Out!

Well, I know what I'll be doing this weekend! Actually, I like getting the taxes out of the way (already have them started). It encourages me to focus on the current year and where it's going, rather than extending the previous year by months and months.

This is from Pixels. So I'm wondering what documentation I will need to show IRS that FAA and Pixels are one in the same.

So it isn't a scam? I don't usually click on links in my email. It would be nice to be able to retrieve via behind the scenes. Please confirm that this is a safe link.

Nancy, it's a site that verifies that a 1099 has been received. That's so Pixels can have proof they delivered them to us.

If people have not got theirs yet and they did receive $600 please check your spam folder over the next couple of hours

Glad to hear it is legit. I don't usually trust any unsolicited e-mail asking for personal information.

FAA's federal ID number is the same as it is for Pixels. You won't need any separate documentation to show that they are the same entity.

Not receiving one from here. One less to worry about. :)

Abbie, who do I need to contact if I still haven't received my 1099? My account is a bit different, as I am an American living in Australia. I still have to report my taxes while overseas and need the 1099. Last year, Sean handled my 1099. I had to enter a US address and my social security # for the FAA website, but my 1099 address needs to be my Australian address, not the US address on file here at FAA.

Haven't got one yet, but only have been here a month and not sold anything.

Aaaahhhh taxes, in obtaining the right to choose our government, we are in effect choosing the way we want to be taxed, in other words by giving up some of our income in taxes we are allowed to choose the way we are governed.

What happens if you are not an American citizen? In the UK, I would declare the income received on my annual tax return and this would be used to work out extra money to pay the tax man.

Abbie, where does someone like you and I stand if our income from Pixels sales takes us over the VAT threshold please? For Americans here, VAT is a partially reclaimable sales tax.
