Upload Image But Not Make Available To The Public

Can I upload an image and NOT make it immediately available to the public for purchase? Easy question but I cannot find the answer anywhere.

Yes

Put it in a password protected gallery. If you don't have one, make one.

Create a gallery and make it private, when you upload the image place it in the password protected private gallery

Thanks for the quick reply.

To go to the next step. I presume I must move it the non-private gallery when ready to sell. Once I do that....will the FB and Twitter interactions still kick in for publicizing?

You may have to re-upload the image to the public gallery rather than move it - I've had trouble a couple times with relocating files. But other than that, once you put it in the public gallery, it functions just the same as all the others. :)

If I put something in a private password protected gallery can anyone view it? Like if I give someone the password to check out the gallery can they do that or is it only me who can look?

Anyone you give the password to can view it

I often upload things to my "not for sale" gallery when I want opinions here or to post something I just want to use in a discussion. Everyone here know my password "notforsale". I don't upload anything I wouldn't want the membership here to see, though. If I did, I would just change the password.
