Douglas,

Welcome! You have some good images and just need to keep uploading more. Spend some time reviewing what is selling and how that relates to your images.

Good Luck!

Gorgeous work! Abysmal key wording :)

You won't be found here with only a few generic keywords. You need more. Work on your key wording, your work is saleable

yeah, more keywords, watch your focus on some images. give better descriptions. don't say its my favorite butterfly, tell people what kind it is.

your responsible for advertising, so be certain you do.

Hi Douglas,

I have similar interests in my photography as you seem to have.

In regards to proper identification of subjects, your "Grand Haven Wind Surfing" is actually a sport called kite boarding. I also photograph kite boarders and wind surfers here on the Connecticut shore. UInfortunately, many of my best shots contain identifiable people and I've not gotten the necessary releases to sell them.

These are wind surfers:

Lovely work, Douglas! I have a similar comment to William's. Your "Little bird" is a wren. Rather than use generic labels, identify the animals, at least in the description. It's hard to tell which wren it is but saying that it's a wren does make a difference. It lets people feel that you cared enough to give them full information on what they're seeing. Provide a full description with the name of the location, the animal, the time of year. That brings the reader into the scene with you rather than making them feel outside it.

M.E.

I think a young or female Carolina wren or possibly a House Wren. Need a better angle to tell,

Rich, my thought as well. We have both here (the House Wren nested *inside* a torn window screen last year and has stubbornly ignored the wren house we put up) but even with one of them right in front of me I can't always tell. They're tricky little boogers! LOL

M.E.,

Yes, they are fun and nosey! Will next ANYWHERE! I have a bunch in my backyard and for a tiny bird, VERY LOUD! Pretty, but loud!,
