"available" Print Sizes

I'm hoping someone can set me straight on print sizes available.

I've uploaded images that measure 12" x 18" @300PPI = 3600 pixels x 5400 pixels.

I see an "available size" of 8" x 12" but there is no 12" x 18" "available". The closest size is 16" x 10.625" or 20" x 13.375".
Anyone know why they jump from 12" on the long side to 16" then skip over 18" and go to 20"?
Isn't 12 x 18" a very standard size print?

Can someone please tell me the pixel dimensions required for a 12" x 18" print?

The sizes are set according to the pixel sizes of the file you upload.

I would not recommend that you try to force the sizes unless those are the only sized you want to sell. That will limit the sizes to only those that have the same aspect ratio.

It may also put you in a position to where you are enlarging the files to get the larger sizes you want and enlarging the files is a no no.

You upload the file as is, after post and then you let the system set the sizes and you just put in the prices for each size that you want as your profit.

I think the printers at FAA run at about 150dpi. As Floyd said, just upload the largest image you can (without digitally enlarging it if possible). I have noticed the sizes skip a few numbers here and there, for example you can't order a 22 (on the short side) print and some other increments are left out.

Because we set our own margins for specific sizes, I think the listing tries to limit the list while covering a wide range of sizes and configurations.

The sizes depend on your pixels. Unlike other sites we never crop or skew images to fit standard sizes, instead allowing the artist free scope to just upload what they have

The only limits we have are that one of your dimensions is going to be forced to fit the following list:

8"
10"
12"
14"
16"
20"
24"
32"
36"
48"

The other dimension will be scaled proportionally to maintain the aspect ratio of your image.

4800 pixels is 48" at 100ppi So you can work out your sizes really before even uploading

Thanks, Isabella,
This answers my question as FAA restricts the option for an 18" wide print: "The only limits we have are that one of your dimensions is going to be forced to fit the following list:"

Much appreciated,
Mike
