If You Have A Email Sent By Service@intl.paypal.com

Please be *very carefull* if you receive a mail sent by *service@intl.paypal.com* because this is not from PayPal. Is a scammer.

I’ve almost been scammed by selling a painting but this direction, piqued my attention.

The man contacted me asking if my work “Frida Kahlo cat lover” was still for sale and what was their value. A normal mail, as I received many other, sent by a buyer.

The scam is, that he says he has placed in your acount, the price of painting, plus the transportation, and asks you kindly, to please pay the transport, with the money “sent” by him, to my PayPal account.

Obviously the money never came to my account.

These people have achieved our mail and the name of our works in some of the sites where we sell.

Thanks for the heads up!

I have never opened any email for PayPal. Never. I have been with them since their first years.

There is no reason to open an email from PayPal and it is 100% effective in avoiding being scammed by phony emails.

Everything you want to know about your PayPal account can be found by logging in.

Even when I see an email for PayPal that know is legit, I never open it. I log in to see what the the issue is.

I do this with ALL or my financial accounts including banks, insurance companies, credit card companies.

I never open any of their emails. If they look important I log into to my account. If I ignore one that was important and do not log in, they will call me on the phone.

I also never open anything apparently sent by PayPal - I go direct to my account and login as Floyd says - it will let me know what's there I need to know - when I was setting up my PayPal account a few years ago, being naive, and still basically setting up the account, I was the victim of someone accessing my info and had charges on my credit card that were not mine - I learned the hard way, so I now open nothing of importance or for that matter from anyone I don't know and there were some recently and apparently sent from friends that looked funky, so what I do with the email is right click the email and view message source for the info without opening it - no problems then
