I have taken over this thread for Lorraine Roy as she is busy and cannot always put the names up as fast as she would like.

Please take the time when you have read this to visit her amazingly unique textile art.

For those who are new to FAA, the Tony Award is passed from artist to artist, roughly on a monthly basis, as an honor for various qualities or contributions. The winning artist gets to choose the next recipient (always a REALLY tough job).

The Award Sculpture was created by our own Tony Murray. The sculpture is shipped forward, each winner engraves his or her name on the base, and on it goes to the next artist.

This thread is to list the past and present holder of this award..

Here is the complete list in the correct order. Each new recipient chooses the next Tony Award winner. The name in bold at the bottom of the list is who holds the award at present.

Poor Beth, just can't get enough to do can ya? You sure are a trooper, always stepping up to plug the hole. Thanks Elizabeth for all you do. Hey did I ever mention I am afflicted with a bad case of "Yellow Hair" disease? Like your new avatar .... ;-]

And thank you Lorraine for hanging in there as long as you could, keeping this current for us. Hmmm, I gotta go check your site and see what new, incredible stuff you have posted.

WOW! Thank you ALL so much for these amazing comments! I was totally unaware of this award's existence until Jim nominated me! I couldn't believe the trophy travelled all the way from Up Over to Down Under!!!! This 'Aussie Sheila' is thrilled beyond words! I don't know how you people posted those images of my works, but I am stunned with your warmth and your comments! I have nominated another Aussie for the award. I think seeing as the 'Tony' has got this far, it would be nice to keep down this end of the planet for awhile! However, I will let Beth or Tony do the big announcement!!!!! In the Aussie vernacular - "I love youse all"!!!!!!
