Understanding The Seller-buyer Relationship At The Faa

Forgive me if I've missed some reading or even some more research on my part. I have not found exactly what I look for and in this case I kindly ask the first one that can help me please send me some links or some clue to get to where I want. Thanks in advance.

However, if I have an original question I am hoping that someone can answer me.

Where and when, exactly, here at the FAA, it happens the relationship artist-collector? I mean, it is clear that there is an intense socialization among artists (the category where I signed up), the interaction between those who share the same purpose: sell and learn a little from each other. But since in my view a seller can also play the role of a buyer, where are those who just are here to buy or even find out new art and artists? More to the point: it is possible that some of my likes, views (human ones), followers and/or any other kind of interaction in my profile starts from a member who is a collector exclusively?

Just making it clear I am new here and for me this question is more theoretical than practical. There is no direct interest or whatever pratical purpose involved (to be honest, I even think that it makes much difference).
I'm just studying a little, you know, a little planning before. I'm trying to understand in detail how things work around here in case I decide to definitely invest in my artistic career.

(Sorry about my English.)
Thank you all.

Yes buyers can favorite or comment or follow though I think they have to create an account to do so.

How often they actually do so would be the real question and not one you will likely get a good answer to.

Thanks for answering, JC. It's interesting! Knowing that my question has any relevance, somewhat longer satisfies me.

the interaction happens when they buy things. anything else is just a pat on the back. i think there are a few collector accounts that have my work favorited and such, but i don't think i've ever seen a sale from that pile. as far as investing goes, the best you can do is create and advertise.

On my AW I turned off comments. I think they muddy the waters.

Yeah I know. Making growing my collection certainly is about to become my high top priority, after all, that's what I like to do and that's what I lack now. Life is perfect, isn't! It may take a while, but it will not be that difficult. Taking care of a few things before starting. Thank you so much Mike.

Favouriting happens a lot by collectors. However they do not interact, they just come to make their favourites and purchase normally. Mike, you may not have seen sales from favourites but a lot of collectors purchase from their favourites list.

i honestly never looked. i never get to see who buys it. i only see on random occasions people on stat counter that have collector in their title.

i keep comments on everything. it adds keywords that you couldn't have added any other way. and it may be that one point where the customer needed extra convincing.

Thanks for answering David, Isabella. Well, as would tell the old indian, now I need a little more time to listen to the wind and then have a say about all this... By now I'll tell you, the science behind FAA... it's really very interesting and attractive. I like all this motion. This can teach you a bit. Anyway, I can say that my question was answered. Thank you and good selling (...or buying!) to everyone.
