It can be for some people, yes. Knitting, crocheting, cross stitching also can work for what may be for similar reasons. I've heard of mowing the lawn (that one is hard for me to picture), running, playing pool, bowling, playing solitaire, doing crossword puzzles, and



I can see exercise as a great way to burn some excess adrenaline, but maybe the other things are a way to switch gears to something that an individual doesn't do for a living.

Colouring books are great for de-stressing. My daughter loves it. I've bought her a few...btw, she's 30 and works in a high stress job.

I would think that creating coloring books would help to de-stress....thinking about the people it will help and the fun they will have.
