Html Emails

I have looked around for answers to my question and not found any so have had to email Isabella again but I thought I will put it on here to start to engage with the community.

My issue is that the all important Unsubscribe link at the bottom is not showing. I have seen another old post about this and have added my return address so that will work but it would be better for the link to show in all cases. It seems that sometimes, for whatever reason it does not.

Any thoughts anyone?

If this needs to go into a specific thread can someone let me know. Thanks

it should be right at the bottom - unsubscribe me from this thread or something like that. if this is about internal mail and group spam - you can't get off of that.

Are you asking about the email campaign tool, Julian, or the thread emails you get for each post comment?

For the email campaign tool, there is my thread on it http://pixels.com/showmessages.php?messageid=1935582

For the unsubscribe link, when you send a single email they don't show, because the person your sending to had not subscribed. But all subscribers when you send to your list will get the unsubscribe link at the bottom.

I also checked the emails we get from subscribing to faa/pixels and the unsubscribe link is right at the bottom above the address.

Hope I answered your questions, if not please as another way. Thank you very much! Enjoy your day!

Mike, it just isn't there.

Frank, this is with the campaign emails. As with another discussion I saw about a year ago there is nothing at the bottom of the email.

I have used the idea suggested in the other thread which is to include ones reply address for people to say they want to be removed but it is not as elegant. Anyway I look forward to reading your thread and developing email strategies for growing an interest base in my art.

Thanks

Yes, then what I said before should apply:

"For the unsubscribe link, when you send a single email they don't show, because the person your sending to had not subscribed. But all subscribers when you send to your list will get the unsubscribe link at the bottom. "

Hi Frank,

What I did was to send a test of the campaign email to another address of mine to see what it looks like and this other address of mine is in the website subscriber list too so should it not show. Maybe you are saying that if you send single emails, whether or not they are in the list, the unsubscribe will not show but if you start the campaign process then it will?

I am having trouble with the emails actually rendering correctly depending on the email service provider. For example, I sent out an email campaign. In hotmail, the words are all there but no pictures rendered. Including the headshot at the top. In gmail, the head shot rendered and the FAA statement at the top rendered - but the entire body of the email is blank. These are two completely different issues depending on the email service provider of the recipient. What do I need to do? Thanks so much!!

That is correct ... with any email marketing service. I use multiple email services just to see how the design lands in each one. ... also multiple browsers.

Website designers do the same thing with browsers, as the rendering is different for each one.

I've used FAA email campaign tool, TinyLetter, and Mad Mimi email services and see your findings from all of them.

You just learn over time how to position your content to balance the rendering in all of them. Go to my page and sign up to my email list to see how I do it ... I send out an email once per week.

Hope this is helpful to you Theresa. Enjoy your day.
