I met a truly nice woman from Alabama today on FB. She found out I was from Connecticut and immediately said, "it is cold up there".

Freezing! about 64 here. BRRRR! I will have to put socks on with my flip flops.

Overcast and 51*F here in the Salt Lake Valley. A storm is moving in though, mid to high 30's for the highs for the rest of the week.

The first snowflake fell this morning. And that was it.

Sun is just poking thru the misty rain clouds now so hopefully I can get my tomato plants in the ground after walking the puppies. I attempted to finish planting yesterday but a cold chill on my back sent me back indoors and we officially start Summer next Tuesday here in NZ.

Brian, I've always struggled with spelling "weather" and "whether".
I have to slow down and think about it...

@Joe -You and me both! But I'm actually poor at spelling in general I'm afraid. I have improved a great deal since school, but I'm still bad overall. :(
