New To This

Hello everyone. I'm a new addition to FAA and am setting up my webpage. Am wondering if anyone could tell me how to make sure an image will post on my main home page. Mine comes up blank. But I only have one image uploaded into my image file so far. I was at least hoping my single image would show on the main home page. Thanks in advance for help you can render. :)

I see an image on your page - so maybe you should refresh?

I see the one you have uploaded to the site on July.

i see this one, you should do something about the keywords though - there is no seas, seashore, beach, ocean city, ocean front, ocean or waves in this. all those words are considered spam.

but that's the only image i see.

If someone is looking for beach pictures, she/he might like this shell picture--so a keyword: beach or seashore is a reasonable keyword?

maybe yes maybe no, because when i think of beach, i think of a beach. not shells. when someone types seashore, they expect to see the sea of some kind. i guess we leave it up to the mods, but i think those words are a stretch here. if the shells were on the beach - then yes.

I'm, with Mike on this. I don't see any shells that are " unique shells primarily found in the south Pacific seas." ALL can be found anywhere in Florida and probably throughout the Gulf Coast States.

A bit dark and a bit blue,

When I think of beach I think of Captiva or Sanibel...and I think of shells. I agree with Rich about the color of the photo--too dark/blue/purple...I would lighten and warm it up.

i suppose, but i don't. when i think of the beach, i think of sand, water, swimsuits and star fish. if there was at least some sand in the shot then still maybe.

if he could name the types, that would get more people in. i mostly see the low level noise and wonder if it will print.

He named it *Group of Shells*-- and keywords: scallop and spindle are names of shells. We're having a gentle, *argee-bargee* (Cockney for a small or big argument.) I do think the artist has the potential of a really nice shell picture here--the little I can see of it. He mentions shells as a keyword first off--that should help.
