FAA has promotional tools you may not know about. One of them is 'Limited Time Promotions.' They allow you to offer your prints on canvas for sale at a substantially reduced price. What a great way to increase the visibility of your work on FAA!! Lastly, it gives you a great reason to promote yourself on Facebook, Twitter, and via e-mail! YAY!
Lets have a HOLIDAY PROMOTIONS starting today!
What I am going to do for you; On the groups Front Page I am going to advertise the promotion thread via a link. What's cool about that? The link will take a perspective buyer directly to the discussion thread and they will be offered an awesome deal they can’t refuse! A 'win, win' situation, right? Now, I like that!
Here's what you'll do. You create your ONE promo and add the link to the discussion topic along with the image you're promoting. When the 5 day promotion expires, I will delete them, you will then come back and post your new promotion. Remember, to promote, promote your promos AND if you get sales from your promotions email me so I can add it to the SALES discussion thread!
Ready to get started? THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE FOR THOSE THAT NEED THEM!
1. Go to BEHIND THE SCENES
2. In the MARKETING section you'll see 'LIMITED TIME PROMOTION' button (there's a little clock icon)
3. The page will read 'YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY ACTIVE PROMOTIONS' Well, you soon will when you...
4. Click on the 'CREATE NEW PROMOTION' button
5. The CREATE NEW PROMOTION' page asks you to find the image you want to promote. You can FIND the piece by TITLE or KEYWORD
6. Once you have the image you want CLICK on it and it will pop up on the CREATE YOUR PROMOTION page
7. On this page you'll see 'CHANGE IMAGE,' 'SET SIZE,' and 'PRICE'
8. Choose the SIZE of the print and watch the PRICE on the right change. Next, ADD YOUR MARK-UP amount
9. Now SCROLL DOWN the page and you'll see SET EXPIRATION CRITERIA
10. The MAXIMUM amount of time for this promo is FIVE DAYS
11. YOU can change the time YOUR promo ends by HIGHLIGHTING and deleting the time then adding your own
12. YOU have the choice of HOW MANY IMAGES YOU WANT TO SELL. Remember, you only have 5 days for this PROMO
13. Once you have all your PROMOTION PAGE COMPLETE click the SUBMIT button
14. The next page has your promo ready! Just click on the BLUE WORDING THAT SAYS 'PROMOTIONAL PAGE' AND VOILA!
15. Here's your LIMITED TIME PROMOTION page. HIGHLIGHT the LINK in your BROWSER and copy it.
16. Come on back to the group and add it to the DISCUSSION TOPIC (http://fineartamerica.com/weeklypromotion.html?promotionid=180886). DON'T FORGET TO ADD THE ORIGINAL IMAGE ALONG WITH THE LINK!
