A Question About Password Protected Galleries.

I would like to ask a question on password protected galleries.

Can I put some zoomed images of textures for a new series in a password protected gallery, and then put the link and passwod to some of the texture facets in the description box on the main images.

If I can and if I do, will these images show up on the new uploads page as that is not what I am after. The images will be random images zoomed to show some of the facets of the new series.
