here is the deal with digimarc
1. it adds noise to your image, that's where the encoding is.
2. its super easy to defeat by running it through any program that mashes it.
3. but mostly you need the digi reader, which comes with photoshop and runs automatically. you can take it out like i do because it eats up memory.
thing is even if you know someone used it, i can't imagine it can give you any kind of data other than someone took it. and even if you know they took it, you can't charge them with anything unless you can prove they did something to it, other than open it.
i think its a total con and a waste of money and time.
