New Contest Sponsored By Exploring Illinois Group

Here we are in the middle of autumn and I thought that a contest honoring the colors of the season here in ILLINOIS is just about the coolest thing we could do. So I am sponsoring the FALL COLORS OF ILLINOIS Contest. The contest is open to FAA members only so if you have fall images shot anywhere in ILLINOIS then enter them in this contest. If you aren't a member of the group why not join up? Nothing to lose but a little more exposure for your photographs.

Guidelines:
1. Only one photographic image per member.
2. Photographs only. You may process your image, for example HDR or adding textures so long as the image retains the quality of a photograph. You may submit color or black and white as well.
3. No photographs with people, cars or trains unless they are incidental to and not the object of the photograph.
4. Absolutely no posed people with or without clothing. This is a contest honoring landscapes as the object of the photograph.
5. You MUST indicate where in ILLINOIS you shot the image. Specifically identify clearly the name of the nearest city or town to the image and make it accessible to me. I will remove any image from consideration if the identification is not made clear and accessible. Having the identification in the title, at or near the top of your description or at or near the top of your keywords are suggestions for making your identification clear and accessible.

Please don’t make me work too hard to identify how your image relates to the overall purpose of this contest.

Here is the link to the contest page where you may enter your best fall image shot in the Great State of Illinois:
