I hope you do well, its not easy selling art but it is very rewarding (I think) to have somewhere to put images instead of a hard drive where nobody sees them. I have a full time job so I am not relying on sales though if and when they come I will be very grateful. I have had one so far and been a member since 2013 - although I have only just taken it more seriously uploading over 200 more photograps. I have over 700 more to upload. I am learning about self promotion through social media so I shall have to see what happens. The best advice I can give is to just enjoy the experience, organise your photos and make friends.

Welcome! I have been here a few months and like it a lot. Many fantastic artists to learn from regardless of medium. I have not had any sales yet, but I suppose one day I will get the lottery email :)

Don't let the crabby folks get you down. There is always a few cranks to offer worthless views and such-But don't confuse constructive criticism with crabbiness. People will give their honest opinions if you ask for critiques, so if you do, dont get bent out of shape. Remember not everyone is going to just LOVE your work, and we all have lessons to learn.

Thank you so much Alicia and Stewart! I'm totally open minded, I love honest feedback ( both good and bad) lol. Everyday, I make it a point to make a small gesture to myself (I hide presents for myself)...this sounds different but honestly, I left corporate America to pursue my dreams. ( no, I didn't quit my job lol my livelyhood. Still have to eat, but lowered my position).
One thing I learned before starting here is to be my own fan internally. This is why I hide small presents for myself to find later.

Hi and good luck! Hopefully this will be a good platform for you.
Also, it seems you didn't separate your tags with commas on a few of your pieces so they aren't seen as individual tags. Using commas will make your images easier to find :)
