Product Request

I just got mail from a possible customer asking for Calaxy S3 cover... I know the model is old, and maybe not the wisest way to expand collections, but there are quite a lot new models out there not listed here.

How about printed silicon covers and wallet-type phone cases. There are also "universal" versions of the latter type, suitable to many phone models within some dimensions limits. And why not for tablets too: iPads, Samsung versions, Sony... That market is growing.

I'll send a " Sorry, not available at this moment" -note to the customer now...

Cheers!

I would imagine that in order to print the phone covers, you'd have to buy blanks. It's probably not very cost effective to buy a quantity of blanks for a phone that may only sell a handful of covers. If blanks for older models are even available.

Let's look forward to growing markets, not shrinking ones.

I suppose all kinds of cases for phones and tablets are groving markets right now. S3-model might not be, on the other hand. But phones and tablets get old in couple of years, and then people change them into new models. And there are plenty of them around. Not just iPhones and Samsungs.

3D-modelling and printing is also groving, but it is still so young version, that I suppose that has to wait for some years. But think about printable sculptures...
