i don't know what the original looks like, but these have plenty of punch... you'll want to fix the crop on this one though.

i can't imagine a watercolor that looks like this, its very sweet looking. when enhancing use the other tools like selective color, color balance, hue shift, etc - don't use saturate.


other than that i don't see anything out of normal.

Be sure your monitor is calibrated before determining if the colors are off.

Here's a "color test" tool that I made. If your monitor shows any color caste, especially in the middle gray section, your monitor is off,

Hi Connie . Scanning is the best method , but your painting will never show the true exact color as the original.

You can try making 2 scans - one with the " Color correction" , & see which one looks more true to tone. Sometimes the color correction works better for me.

While it is disappointing to not be able to reach your original true color selection - it can also be fun to adjust your colors and maybe add some pizzazz.

This is what makes that original so valuable !

oh yeah, & that calibration thing.......... back to Rich on that one.

To Add - I think your colors look great.
