Why Is My Image Turned Sideways?

I'm new to Fine Art America. I'm trying to upload one of my favorite photographs right now. It is a vertical image and every time it uploads it turns it horizontally.. This would be okay on some things like a canvas, print etc.. because you could simply turn it. As for shower curtains, duvets, tote bage and shirts this poses a problem. I'm stumped and I can't seem to find a solution. Can anyone help me?

You are trying to upload from a phone without saving it as a vertical.

You have to save it as a vertical on your computer. If you have an editing program "save as" in the vertical mode. Just because it looks the correct way on your computer doesn't mean it will upload that way. It must be saved that way.

it doesn't flip things automatically here, it has to be done in your side in an editing program.

Thanks everyone, I didn't realize that just rotating the image in my gallery on my computer wouldn't finalize the flip. I used an editing program to save what I had already done and it worked great! I have it uploaded now.
