Oldest Image Promotion

On October 9, 2013, I posted my first FAA image. Meet Pineapple, a terminally cool Florida watchdog with hip sunglasses, guarding his truck, maybe wondering if his owner will bring him some reward from the famous Atlantic Coast diner. That cheeseburger sure smelled good!
This photo was honored as a selection by PhotoContest to appear in their Best of 2014 Photography coffee table photo art book!

Although I joined Fine Art America as a member June 2014, here is my first image uploaded Dec. 22nd, 2014::



This is Redwood Creek which runs through Muir Woods National Monument near Mill Valley, California just north of San Francisco. This park contains one of the last old-growth stands of redwoods in the world. They average 700 years of age and can reach heights of up to 258 feet. They are truly remarkable examples of creation!

This sweet koala was taken while roaming a zoo in Sydney and is my favorite memento of that trip. I remember the flash not going off as I made the shot. Yay for dumb luck! :)

Going to promote Barbie's picture because I love this fella who looks exactly like my Zeva except my girl is white. Adorable picture Barbie!

My first FAA upload is a tribute to some of America's history, in this case the Battle at Gettysburg during the Civil War. (Uploaded April, 19, 2012).

It's a picture from down in the reef at Pipeline, looking up at the surfers feet all dangling down from the surface,

I think this is the first image I posted here. It also happens to be the first photo I ever sold.

This image was taken on a walk near city Enköping in the forest of Gröngarn. It was uploaded on June 16, 2013

I'm not sure if this was THE 1st but it was when I joined in 2013. From a fishing village of Mexico on the Pacific.

This image of a tree from High Park in Toronto, Ontario, was one of the first images I uploaded when I began here on FAA, Dec. 3, 2013.
It has gotten rave reviews from others who had seen it in books I had self-published of my work.

2012

This is my second oldest image uploaded to Fine Art America.

One of my first Sept 14, 2014. The day I joined I had about 6 images uploaded on the same day.

This one I believe was my first painting on FAA back in October 2013

I joined in early January 2011, so of course my first picture was of an autumn scene! LOL One of my favorites, though.

This is the very first image I uploaded - 19 April 2015. I was sitting under a tree at the edge of a small field as the sun set. I noticed the light shining through this patch of grass and got closer. It proved to be a popular image with friends and so I uploaded it here when I joined Fine Art America.

I joined FAA on February 27, 2009 and uploaded some fifteen images that day. This image appears to be the actual first, but I can't be sure since a few of those early submissions are out of order now.

I had older ones up, but I deleted a lot when I could only have a maximum of 25 images.

I joined FAA about a year ago, but for whatever reason didn't get around to uploading pictures until the end of May 2015. When I did, I uploaded five all at once, and this is one of them.



Later I reworked the image, used it as a background for a silhouette and uploaded it again:

This was uploaded Dec. 27th, 2009, my third in line. Looking at it again, I think it needs work as I can see noise in the image.
