How Do I Set Subjects And Catagories For My Images

basically you put things into your galleries and set your defaults to galleries. i'm not sure what your asking though.

There are categories on FAA. I don't know how they are done.

I see searchable catagories and can't recall ever seeing,when I upload somtehing, a box to fill in or menu to select an item or items that ask/answer the question "so how do ya want to catagorize this thing?"

There is no place to categorize each image and I have no idea how The category search selects what to display. I try to use the category name from the list in my keywords and descriptions.

Are you seeing the exact word "catagories"? And if yes, where are you seeing this? You can search by "Subjects" which is basically searching the entire faa for the tag you used on any given image you upload. And you can filter by "Collections" but that only filters out the search to the "collections" of images faa chooses. -W

When you fill out the upload page, you will see icons for drawing, painting, sculpture etc etc....pick one.

Then to display the images, you display images and you can put them into galleries. When you upload an image you
choose what galleries you want to enter the images into again on the upload page.

Addition I see you have done those things. I do not know what you are asking.

Do you mean "Subjects", "Collections" or "Products".....???

The categories in the top menu are not member inputs. Staff choose the selections there.

Just use your keywords to be found :)
