Out Shooting With Fellow Photographer Lynn Palmer

I recently had the pleasure of exploring one of Colorado's mountains with Lynn, we visited Mount Evans, and it was a fabulous day!

I've only tipped the surface of editing the 750+ shots I took that day but here is one of them.

I've had the opportunity to meet up with a few fellows artists here, I always enjoy it, it's great to be able to have online friendships...and even better when I get to hang out with them!

It's nice that you two were able to get together and enjoy the beauty of nature. Awesome images !

Last year my wife and I were lucky enough to meet with Elise Palmigiani in France, who took some time from her busy work week to show us the wonderful city of Lyon.

What great fun and great shots. Photography is always such a lonely activity...I sometimes take my camera going out with friends but they just don't get why you might want to take a detour to climb on top of something...etc. to get a better shot. How much fun that must have been!!!

Haha, so true, Val. When we are on vacation my poor kids and hubby just sigh and wait patiently as I constantly wander away to get a better shot.

So sorry I missed your post Angel! I returned to Miami Sunday afternoon completely exhausted and have been falling asleep way too early all week. I have to tell everyone what a wonderful day I had shooting with Angel in Colorado. I can't wait to do it again! The weather was perfect and we found a perfect destination with lots of photo ops along the way. Like Angel I have only had time to process a handful of my 750+ images and so far have only posted two.

Angel posted one for me but here's another one I took at Summit Lake, about 10,000 above sea level.

Val, you are so right, photography is almost always a solitary activity. In my 10 days in Colorado the trip with Angel was my only social shoot. I drove alone for all my other landscape photo adventures.

I just want to call out Angel for her dedication to craft. In my image below she is the photographer perched on the narrow rock ledge in 45 degree weather with gusty winds focused on getting the perfect shot of the lakes and valley below. Go-o-o Angel!!
