Help With Identifying My Vintage Cars

I don't want to burden anyone, but if any of my male friends out there have some time to help me identify model/year of my vintage car photographs it would be SO much appreciated. I can photograph them, but I am no car person... LOL!!! Thanks!

Diana, I learned the hard way on this. I got so excited at car shows that I was getting all kinds of closeups, hood ornaments, bumpers, engines, etc. Then when I got home and tried to describe them, uh-oh! So I started doing something a little different on the last car show I did. When I was going to shoot a particular car, I would first shoot the ground or something solid, then I took a shot of the ID card in the window or somewhere around or on the car to identify it, then I would take all my photos. When I finished with that car, I would take another shot of the ground or something solid and move on to the next. That way when I got home and started going through them, I could keep them together in groups divided by the shots of the ground or solid color and it made it SO much easier to identify them later. This may be a little simplistic, but it sure helped me! But, yeah, I'm like you with a ton of car images I can't identify. Good luck!

Oops.... you are all right. Why should I be singling out the fellas!

I have gotten pretty good at guessing the general year/era of vintage cars/trucks, then I go onto Google images and type in the year/brand that I guessed it was. I get images of that make/model and if not exact, I try another year. Example, type in '1942 Ford truck images', and so on... By looking at the front end, the lights, the split windshield, etc. you can find it fairly easily.
Have fun!!

I could guess a few...but it would only be a guess. The ones I knew you already got. Couldn't you do a reverse image search and look for matches?

When I did a lot of photography I always kept a small notebook to write what I might forget...mostly I used it to remember what settings I used. When I get back into it I probably will keep one again...thinking it would help with key wording and descriptions too.

Based on the titles of your car images, all your cars with genders are girls. You need to add some pics of guy cars, the girl cars get lonely without their boyfriends. LOL

A funny movie about a girl who knows more about cars than the guys do: "My Cousin Vinnie"
