Diana, I learned the hard way on this. I got so excited at car shows that I was getting all kinds of closeups, hood ornaments, bumpers, engines, etc. Then when I got home and tried to describe them, uh-oh! So I started doing something a little different on the last car show I did. When I was going to shoot a particular car, I would first shoot the ground or something solid, then I took a shot of the ID card in the window or somewhere around or on the car to identify it, then I would take all my photos. When I finished with that car, I would take another shot of the ground or something solid and move on to the next. That way when I got home and started going through them, I could keep them together in groups divided by the shots of the ground or solid color and it made it SO much easier to identify them later. This may be a little simplistic, but it sure helped me! But, yeah, I'm like you with a ton of car images I can't identify. Good luck!
