Periodically Check Your Default Pricing

Just a friendly reminder, check your default pricing, I went to upload some images and saw a large amount of my default prices were missing.
I went behind the scenes to check them and sure enough, they were gone.

It's a good thing to follow up on occasionally because for some inexplicable reason they can randomly disappear.
If you have no prices, the products cannot sell.

I've noticed that before too, Angelina. Thanks for the reminder. I'm going to go check mine now!

I've had to go back more times than I care to to fix default pricing. Its a pain in the butt ! Today I find that all the dates in my "visitors" are all mixed up.. Nothing I can do about that.. but wonder how all this happens.. one wonders what else goes awry and we don't even know it.

Hi Sharon, at the top of the visitors tab there are arrows going up and down, when you click on the arrow you control how you view the visitors.
I would guess you clicked on an arrow and didn't realize it, now the order is changed.

Over three weeks ago I made a pillow sale that showed my profit as $0.00. I know I had set all my prices, so I wonder if something like this caused it. I submitted it to tech but have not rec'd a reply yey.

Thanks Angelina! I've experienced the missing price for a couple years. Is there any easy way to check which image misses the price?

I don't know of any easy way to check, other than looking at default pricing Xueling.

A good idea to keep track of it is to take a screenshot after you have submitted the changes,
then you have a quick reference of the prices you uploaded and the date you did it.
You would also have proof the prices were set Valerie.

That's a good idea. Although I must say it would never have occurred to me that on a professional site like this I would ever have to keep proof of my pricing.

defaults blank out now and then, but the pictures stay. it seems to only effect the default section. its kind of annoying. it used to stick.

I'm new to this site so perhaps I missed an obvious way to accomplish this: can you apply your default pricing to images you've already uploaded and priced? I see the button to Set Defaults, but I'm looking for a button that lets me select an image and apply the defaults I've already set. My goal would be to standardize pricing for most images and make it easy to make global changes across all images that are linked to the default pricing. Any suggestions?

default is for new uploads only. the bulk edit changes past items.

I just noticed that my MARK-UP pricing on (for example) CARDS in DEFAULT PRICING..... is different than my MARK-UP prices on CARDS when I'm in BULK EDIT. Now why would that be??? It's not just on cards either. Shouldn't my mark-up be the same on both ends?

Thanks Michel... I knew that but I have changed Bulk Edit and that doesn't effect the default prices and I think it should.
Would have been handy knowing you when I owned my travel agency a few years ago.. ;-) How much of the USA have you travelled? We really have a fascinating country!
