Prints And Image Sizes

A lot of my art can be sold by having prints of them. But only one piece doesn't have that option. Why is this and how can I change it so the canvas and acrylic print options could be available? Also, why are all my images so small on the duvet covers?

your images are too small, you needed to upload larger images.

Oh... of course. What about the print options not showing up?

Ryan..

I use for my art and photography 14 MP and 16 MP that makes the images very large, I think the
camera your using the pixel size is too small...

he answered it already. if the images are too small they won't show up at all. for the most part they are only 800px. they need to be much larger - and you can't enlarge them.

It sucks because I don't have any walls at my house large enough to take professional photos of some of my large works like "Rolling Hills". Thank you for the replies. So the lack of a larger image also relates to the absence of printing options for one of my images?

The sizes depend on your pixels. Unlike other sites we never crop or skew images to fit standard sizes, instead allowing the artist free scope to just upload what they have

The only limits we have are that one of your dimensions is going to be forced to fit the following list:

8"
10"
12"
14"
16"
20"
24"
32"
36"
48"

The other dimension will be scaled proportionally to maintain the aspect ratio of your image.

4800 pixels is 48" at 100ppi So you can work out your sizes really before even uploading

We allow 25mb only and you can change the compression as low as 10 before it hurts the image

Never enlarge your images as that degrades the print quality and we will refuse to print and, if your images are too large file size, you can compress to 10 in Photoshop before losing quality

If you sell an image we will refuse to print if the image shows.......

Pixellation
Blockiness
Bad cropping
Blurriness not in keeping with the image (ie not meant to be there)
normal font signature (Arial, Times New Roman etc)
signature cropped half off the image
large watermarks
noticeable camera flash
Upsized images

We do not do quality control until you sell so, it is your responsibility to quality control your images carefully before uploading. You do this by zooming in a photo editor to 100% and then carefully going over the image, checking for the above defects

We require Adobe RGB or sRGB and do not accept CMYK or ProPhoto

To have work on sale you need to have prices on them. Remove them from sale by not adding or removing prices. Do not add 0. Leave totally blank, not even a space.

There are four ways of changing prices on your work

UPLOADING As you upload the work you can see the pricing areas. These are for your markup. What YOU wish to earn
DEFAULT SETTINGS in your Behind the Scenes you can see Default Settings. Set these for all future work you load. That way the prices will be ready populated as you upload.
GLOBAL PRICE EDIT If you wish to price already loaded images and you have a lot, use this.
EDITING Edit the image and change the pricing (don't forget to click SUBMIT to save the changes)

The phone cases, are on http://pixels.com and premium sites only

Pixels.com is going to become the parent website that sits above all the other websites. As we introduce new products (e.g. iPhone cases, calendars, puzzles, etc.), each new product will appear on Pixels.com. The "fine art" domains will continue to only sell products that fall under the "fine art" heading (e.g. canvas prints, framed prints, etc.)

Just log in using your normal details

You can see more about this in your BEHIND THE SCENES | Domain area

The owner has added a thread about the reasoning behind this here http://fineartamerica.com/showmessages.php?messageid=2530357

Search pages (such as particular product searches) take 24 hours after the prices added to be shown

Hope this helps

What camera are you using to photograph your work?

Ryan Bitzer

It wasn't my own camera so I can't remember. That doesn't help me in any way. But I can photograph it again since it's a small painting.
