Before I read 5 articles Floyd, is there any mention on how you come up with essentials keywords for abstract paintings?

Edit: and Floyd, there is a misspelling in your headline.

Here is another article. While I believe mostly in point 3., the main focus in most threads here, is on point 2.

Ps: My sense of justice demands, that I post this at the other thread, too.

Thank you Colin!

I like both 2 and 3 equally and they should be a must read for everyone!

Just for the record, I posted this information this morning to push down the spam threads more than anything else. These articles have been posted here in the past.

Thanks for sharing, Floyd. I've copied this info into a Word file for future reference.

Thanks Floyd.

Just an silly question here and I hope I word it right, I'm in the UK it seams different on how to advertise, I know some people who does their own printing, they range from A4 to large canvas, from bookmarks to place-mats, they often do craft fairs and finds it's a better way to get their work known here, also people here do a lot of in-shop sales, they will put their work in tea rooms, restaurants so on, these places takes a cut of the sales bit I fine they tend to do every well, most have websites as well.

I'm not sure how you guys from all over the world gets your work out.

I'm not sure how to get my work out there, i do twitter and Facebook but because i don't lets say do weddings or people so not sure if i have to advertise a different way to the people shooters.

PS I'm in groups which does my style of photography and getting good views and likes.

Floyd,
Since you have all this advice to give I guess it means you are selling the hell out of your stock. True or false?

I don't see much in the way of actual advertising tips in there. There is a lot of solid, general info on being a professional artist but few if any specifics on actually selling art, especially using social media. Mike gives specific instructions on how to promote your work, how about you Floyd?
