Promoting Your Work

I'm quite new to the whole "online selling" thing and as my chosen media is all digital it makes sense for me to go down the print on demand route as it keeps my overheads down, what do you find is the best way to promote yourself and get noticed? are there any hints and tips? do's and don'ts?

Thanks

Pod

type in promoting in the forum search, you'll find plenty.

for now, your work looks good, but add more of it. add more keywords.

promoting starts with the home base

Art Prints
i have no idea what that description means. tell us about the image itself, not how it was made. add more tags, they are important. then branch out from there.

i'm not sure if mentioning your bi-polar in the bio will actually help you sell better. i'd leave your medical history out of it and just focus on the art.

Cheers Mike,

I'm just going through looking for good enough quality pictures to upload, a lot of it I did for myself and just used as backgrounds and every now and then get a couple printed off but now I'm going more serious I need to make sure the quality is there. I'll check those links out :) much appreciated

regards
