I Image Upload Format

Hi, my name is Joseph Diaz
I have been trying to upload an image onto my account, and I did not know how to insert the image format, such as jpeg, or any other format that Fineartamerica accepts. I tried using photoshop, to "save As", but when I tried to upload, the system told that I must use the formats that they require, such as jpeg, etc; which was the one I tried to upload. In other words, this system did not recognize this format. Can anyone help me with this? You can reply to my email at: jrd129@gmail.com

Thank You
Joseph Diaz

Did you save as jpeg? Check the file. I see you managed with your other images.

Make sure it's not psd file.

thank you for your reply.

The answer is Yes, I did use jpeg, and some of the others, Fineartamerica accepts. It just seems that it does not accept any. By the way, I tried sending it to my daughter, and she was able to send it, even though she does not have psd. I am getting to think that my system is not working with psd. I was wondering if there was another way of inserting the picture format without using psd?

psd is photoshop. save as JPG, then upload if your renaming the file to that it won't work.

Joseph,

PSD is not the right file type AND it's 16 bit. You need to duplicate the file, close the original, then go to "mode" and convert the NEW file, to 8 bit and THEN save as a jpeg. As long as it's under 25mb and the site isn't having any uploading problems, then you should be able to upload it to FAA,

Hope this helps,

Rich
