Facebook Ads And Faa

Im about to use some FB ads to promote my work and a few crowdfunding campaigns. I know we can sell our work on FAA through FB. But what I want to know today- (from anyone how uses FB Ads ) is can you track how many people purchased your art via the FB Ad?
I'm trying to build a customer list / leads from people who purchase via FB Ads.

Good luck - advertising requires a consistent effort. If you just do it only once you are throwing your money away. You have to hit people at least six times before they take action. Probably this number is even higher on the web. Also since people are already bombarded by images on FB, its unlikely to someone will suddenly want to purchase an image.

Looking forward to other opinions.

I have always had poor results with FB ads, FWIW.

I did a FB ad but it was for my entire page, not a specific post on the page. While it did not bring about any sales (yet), I did get quite a lot of page likes during the duration of the ad, bringing in more viewers.

This, however, was before I split my portrait photography from my fine art photography. I'm thinking I should do another promo on the new, fine art page now ;)

I ran a post boost with a few images in the post for about three days. I did not accept their pricing.
I lowballed the heck out of them. They were slow to respond with boosting. I also targeted
my audience dramatically which was very instructive. You run from general targeting which has merits
to specific targeting which is of some import.

By day three I had spent less than $5, because I refused to spend more than 25 cents per click. And by the
way the click option is last on the list of options. Anything less is money simply given over to FB for nothing.

PS it did little for me and no sales. I got close to 800 views, and some dozens of clicks in the three days. No buyers. It was
far to early to know what would have happened with say $50. I had budgeted $120, but decided not to follow through.
