The Palette Cube Is Like A Portable Eyedropper Tool For The Real World

Kewl and probably fun toy, but I'm not sure it's $180 better than an iPhone app that does the same thing: http://petapixel.com/2015/08/27/the-palette-cube-is-like-a-portable-eyedropper-tool-for-the-real-world/

seems like a good way to burn some cash. i can see maybe decorators or painters using it. beyond that, i'm not sure how useful it would be in the hands of muggles.

I was wondering if there was such a thing. Pricey.

I imagine t'would be useful for anyone who designs their own color palettes, but still don't see it being more useful than any of the myriad of apps that do the same thing. Unless I'm missin' sumthin'. I'm muggled until well caffeinated.

I don't think I need it to be, it's pretty accurate.

Certain professionals might need more accuracy, like where a commercial customer is very picky about the color matching, if this is accurate enough it would actually be a lower cost than other professional tools to do the same thing. But ya, for most artists it is overkill.
