Opting Out Of Some Print Options? For A Limited Edition Print.

Hi guys, I want to put one image - separate from all the others but I don't want it used for phone covers etc. It is a piece I have done to raise funds for animal rescue and I already have an audience for it Is it possible to run a limited edition on FAA? Plus a smaller open edition?

No it is not really possible to do a limited edition as we can't guarantee to stop selling the work after a certain number.

Just remove all prices....leave the spaces blank...on all products you are not wanting to have for sale

Thanks Abbie. The only relevent info I have found is for 'Time Limited Promotions' which might OK for what I need.

its a print on demand site, not many will ever believe its limited, and usually those are hand signed and numbered.

I think if you order the prints from FAA first, then sign and number each one. you can called it limited edition.

You can order prints from FAA, number them and sign.

OMG...I can't believe I am agreeing with Alfred!

Thanks everyone. I was wondering about having a set sent to me and signing. I have done Limited Eds before. Are the Prints sent out from the USA of from the UK (I live in the UK)?

I've had that question from customers. The only practical way to do it on a print on demand site is if you know the client wants it is you order it ..when it comes in you sign it and forward it onto them with whatever markup.or they order it..when they get it they forward it to you, you sign and number it etc and send it back. Some people do want them signed and numbered. The only thing is its not really limited as others can order it as long as it is available on the site. However you can have a limited number of those that you will number and sign. It would be nice if there was an option for that. Many artists will not participate on a print on a demand site but would participate in a limited print on demand site with signed and numberd prints. There is probably a sizable market there waiting to be tapped.

Thanks Joseph. Why is that a better option than having all the prints sent to me? Apart from the fact some wont bother sending them to me. I can get that. What I need as a print provider that posts out. I don't want my clients ordering canvas prints out of this image - but I can restrict the order to unframed prints only.
