I say things about life to myself like your statement. Maybe not word for word.

I am much much happier working as an artist than I was ever before.

Just one thing, in those moments where I think in such terms....I am more often finding myself changing the word
"you" to the word "I".

It is a good thing for any of us to account for ourselves in such a way, not as a you, but as an I or a me or a my.

Perhaps then we each can give back more to those around us.

Am I following my dreams or have I allowed circumstances to prevent me from getting to the point in life that I desire to be?

Which dreams are they? The ones I had at 20, 30, 40 or 50. They are not the same, circumstances have changed them.
Circumstances have created oportunities, which when taken caused a deviation from my original path (for better or worse).
To deviate is a risk, but I tend to get bored with the status quo after a while. Failure doesn't discorage me, it just means I have to try a new route.
I am happy with what I have and where I am, but that is not where I thought I'd be.

I am VERY lucky to be doing exactly what I hoped to e doing one day. Offline I get to paint and play and live life with dogs and horses. Online I get to do digital art, photography and work here.

My life is probably the best it has ever been and, even if the worst happens tomorrow, I have had 11 years of bliss

So I am with you. I wake up motivated and the only thing lacking is there are not enough hours in my day to fit it all in

My family says I'm living the dream which honors me. I, however, feel a strong problem with the future arriving too fast and I'm not able to keep the promises that I made to myself.
