Does Anybody Know . . .

I don't know how this happened but when setting up my Facebook (personal page) - which was done 2nd - it somehow got cross referenced to my business page(which I set up first) - example - I go to a website where I wanted to exchange 'business' information etc. - and when I click on any purpose (like, comment etc.) My profile picture is there and when I click on it , it takes you to my personal Facebook page - how do I change that over to referencing to my Facebook business page?

I'm no techie but it may have something to do with both accounts having the same IP address (from your computer) and/or the same email address. I'm not sure how one can separate the two accounts.
Cheers.

Umm, not 100% sure of this, but experiment and try this...make sure to be signed in on fb as your business page and then go to a website and try liking, etc. I'm thinking that it will default to whatever you were 'signed into' previously. That or when you do click to like or whatever, look to see if there is a little arrow with a drop down list that says 'use facebook as: to switch accounts and then 'like, etc'.

Your personal account is the one used for liking most things

Top menu on FB
See complete right a down arrow
Change to page
Now you are your page

Abbie - is it true that there might be a problem with - something to do with both accounts having the same IP address (from your computer) and/or the same email address - like Peter Krause suggested?
Also - following your directions ( I thank you from those) - there is no option ( under the drop-down arrow) 'change to page' - are you referring to the line that says Robert Palmer - ( with my icon picture) - because the only two others are - 'create page' and 'manage pages' - which neither pertains
thanks again - Robert

No problem with IP or email on Facebook or connecting the app here

Is your personal profile linked to your artist page? Ie is the FB personal profile the admin of the FB artists page?

Abbie, I want to thank you for the advice/suggestions/leads regarding personal/business pages on Facebook that I posted on this discussion page last week. I followed your advice and it seemed to be somewhat helpful but it wasn't the complete answer to my situation/issue.
To make sure I've made this clear (with this problem I've encountered) - WITHOUT Facebook open or minimized, I go into the Internet (with Google Chrome )to some (any) companies website page (with business intentions) and there is an option there to 'like or comment', okay - in the box where you click on to 'like' the page, there's an icon picture of me.
Where (or what address of mine) is that icon being generated from - how was that 'default' created? Without my Facebook page open (or minimize) how is that Association made? When I click on that icon (of me) - it takes me to my Facebook 'Personal' page - needless to say, I DO NOT want to associate my personal page with my BUSINESS page. I would be satisfied with it referring to my Facebook BUSINESS page, or my FAA website address/page.
- - Thanks in advance for your help!
- - Robert

That's how Facebook works. If you were in a fanpage (business page) it would tell you to sign out of that and into your personal. That is how Facebook works
