Tech Question: Product Images Not Showing, Instead Just Displaying Text?

I am having the same issue. I also contacted Tech support. On top of the missing thumb nails, I have the wrong pictures showing up under different items. I am hoping this is due to Sean working some of his magic for future updates.

i had the issue sending to facebook yesterday, the picture didn't show at all. i'm guessing he's using a new matrix or something.

Have you tried to re-upload images for the products for your client.

If not the URLs you are nesting digital files uploads within digital file uploads. Again crossing a form of the codes that automatically
populate. Actually this is far more likely to be the exacting problem.

I've just uploaded customized images with different file names for the home decor products. I have done that with just about every image I have and it's worked on all except for two. It shows up when I add it to the cart, so it's pretty clearly just a thumbnail generation issue, but the client needs to see the product in order to confidently order it.

My bad, I never got far enough in to know we could upload supplemental images.

I'm sure the artist-side upload function for the products was tested and developed before we ever got the option to sell the things. The supplemental file is uploaded, it's given a file name, thumbnails and display images (picture on bedspread, picture on shower curtain) are generated and named, the page code calls to those files, and then the page is displayed. A glitch has prevented these particular display images from appearing on my page. Maybe they were never generated, maybe they were misnamed. For whatever reason, the call is not being completed and the images aren't displaying.

It's not all that complicated, it just needs a little fixing.

Different images etc are to do with uploading or editing with more than one window/tab open at the same time or naming things the same

It takes time to show custom images on the items. It can take half an hour or so

I uploaded these days ago. I did try to re-upload one this morning, but the other (Sitting Tree) I uploaded over a week ago.

This is what I see, whether logged in or logged out. This is Firefox, but I have the same problem in Chrome and Internet Explorer. I had my husband test it on two different computers that have never accessed FAA and the same thing happens across all browsers for him too.



Maybe I should just delete the whole image and re-upload it? Maybe that will re-generate the images?

Earlier this morning I edited, re-uploaded the custom image, and submitted. Just did a quick edit/submit.

Ok If I revert to using the original image for the home decor products, they show up just fine. But when I try to use a custom image, the image doesn't display.

Just on these two pictures; Lantern Bearer and The Sitting Tree. Works fine everywhere else.
