i have no idea... there are people that do look at this site. but i wouldn't worry about it. knowing what people are looking at, won't help you to know that, and it usually just worries people more than it should.

Thanks Mike,

Are you saying you can actually visit a site that visits you? Excuse any ignorance on my part, not tech savvy.

James, I also get a lot of visits from Roubaix. Not as many as some of the other bots, but you could be right.

It is most definitely a bot. I get visits from them all the time.

I would image it is a bot as I get many visits from them too.

I get a metric ton of views from Robaix, have been for a year, I'd say it's most likely a bot as well as Parma, Italy.

For me, it's Beverly Hills.

Sounds like a nice place to visit. Why not return the favor right? I bet they have good wine.

Yes, it is a bot. The source may be one of the mail order companies. Roubaix is one of the French centers for this business.

I would doubt that it is a very nice place. It is an industrial city (textile) in a flat marsh area. I have never seen or heard of wine from this region.

The most famous thing is the classic bike race Paris-Roubaix every year (with cobblestone pavement parts).

Yes, the famous Roubaix plaid wine. New varietal coming soon - try a nice chilled glass of Paisley!

Bike race sounds like fun -- I take it they don't race through the marsh...

It is a location. You cannot tell if something is a bot by the location. For all you know it is the location routing connections from a billion users. You have to look at the Ip address which is given if you know where to look. That said I think someone already did that and traced it back to an internet scraper site, so that would would make it a scraper bot. Nothing to be afraid of though.
If you are curious about a visitor you can look up the IP address. I have a thread that shows you how. Keep in mind the IP addressoften links back to an internet server like the one you may use at home or when using wifi. BTW 85% of the worlds internet traffic comes through the large servers in Auburn, VA, which are leased to other companies thatdo all kinds of tings including connecting millions of individual users. A lot of those big servers show Beverly Hills as the location. I don't know why. It has to show something so why not Beverly Hills. I do know that some of the BH is people connecting via AT&T wireless and possibly also their fiber optic network. Amazon is also a large leaser of servers that shows up as BH.
When a user logs in to FAA the location shown is the location that they give FAA.

For how to look up a location read here:

Oh I just got a visit from there and checked it. It's Ahrefs, and internet consulting company with its own database and its own web crawlers.
