How can I submit it, if it cannot be already uploaded first?

Are uploads time stamped? How can you tell whether I just uploaded it for this exercise or whether it has been uploaded already for months and I just happened to choose it now?

Perhaps I'm reading into this, but I sense a little devilish-ness coming through in your tease. I believe the mods have put a great deal of thought into making this challenge fairly difficult. Can't wait to see what you've cooked up!

I don't recall that being a stipulation. I guess if we posted an image of some sort of a vehicle ( car/truck), it indirectly provides reference to the UAW. :)

Does anyone really care *that* much if we vote? Probably not.


Maybe the next one could *not* be a contest with voting, just a "Create A New Artwork on [fill in the blank] Theme" thread, with a deadline so it doesn't stay open forever and become an image-dump thread.

There are plenty of contests with voting available, it's the assignment part & the requirement to create something new that's fun and different from the gazillion other contests here on FAA.

And to be a picky "know it all" car guy jerk I can't help but point out that Ford was not unionized when the Model A was in production so the car in that image was not "union made". Ford didn't unionize until the mid or late 30's

Edit: Not knowing anything about cars, did David's remark about the vehicle being of a vintage before the organization of the UAW make sense?

On all my trivia etc I used to add a little bit of history.... Nothing more. It's just a 'back in the day' bit.....useless info....tasty tidbit. Etc
