Point Your Finger And Say "that's The Bad Guy"

Who doesn't like a good bad guy? Who are some of your favorites? (from the video or not).

I LOVED Darth Vader when I was a kid. He was (and still is) awesome!
Hans from the first Die Hard was a good bad guy.
Can't forget Tony Montana.

Terence Stamp in just about anything.

From the video you posted, John, that guy with the horns really gave me the creeps! I wonder if that was from Apocalypto.

I'm sure that Christoph Walz is really a lovely guy, but I can never see him without envisioning his sick character in Inglorious Basterds.

There is only one Hannibal Lechter -- best villain ever in "Silence of the Lambs" and "Hannibal."

There has hardly been a better bad guy in several films as rotten as Bruce Dern, especially in Hang Em High AND the first person to kill John Wayne on film in The Cowboys. He just exhuded menace and rottenness

oddly i still like Vlad the Impaler. he stuck to his guns, skewering bugs in prison, and while he was a bit gruesome, his tactics worked pretty well for him. best not to be a door to door salesman...

i also like the Borg from star trek, very efficient people.

Growing up it was Dan Duryea...When he showed up you knew you were in for a very creepy 2 hours.

His characters not only were villainous, they were always sleazy.

He was known as the "King of Sleaze"

Seconding Bruce Dern in The Cowboys. One of my favorite John Wayne movies, and a total sleaze of a villain.

I really like villains who just look like regular guys, because the craziest people often do. Check out Joseph Cotton in "Shadow of a Doubt" (also by Hitchcock). I'll put Delores Umbridge in that category, too. She really looks harmless at first.

Current favorite is Loki from the Thor and Avengers movies. He's a rather sympathetic villain, even if he is a major stinker at times.

My bad, I thought this was just movies in general.
The Talented Mr. Ripley, Tom (Matt Damon) was a indeed villain, crazy dude he was.

I enjoyed more though
Cate Blenchatt, and Jude law acting in that movie. Love good movies!

Frank Underwood is on my list, now that you mention it. For some reason, I wasn't think of him as a villain.
Then there was Ben from "Lost."
President Logan from "24"
And the aforementioned Hans Gruber from "Die Hard"

David S Reynolds
