Forgot to mention they are all landscapes at various spots.

$250/hr shooting, plus travel expenses would be a start for me. Then depending on the usage of the image there would be licensing.

I presume they told you which landscape spots they want - and having traversed that country a bit - timing is everything and the weather is double that. Taking Looking Glass Rock - I think in all the years and all the photo's I've taken of that d***** rock - perhaps one is clear, not hazy, sharp, and is presentable.

I have shot plenty in the NC mountains and told him weather would be a big factor, and it could take longer than expected. So many factors can come into play, it's difficult to even put a number on it.

Donnie, will you retain the files and the right to sell prints?

I would say you have to figure in the timing. You can't be in every spot at the golden hours on the same day - or like you say - weather. Seems like if you can get a free vacation, then cool, especially since you can sell them over and over (in theory).

Kathleen, I haven't even thought that far ahead. This is something he is doing for his mom, so I would imagine he would want them to be personal to her.
