T-shirt Feature

I did the read-through and set my mark-up...then allowed time for the upload of the t-shirt sales option for each image. But it never showed up on my FAA image site where all the other purchasing options are. Wondering........ 😕

I believe that shirts are available through pixels.com but won't be on the FAA site. However they should show up on your AW.

Thank you for clarifying, Jan. It would be nice if the t-shirt option was linked also to the FAA sites......maybe someday. :)

Hello

The phone cases, and nonhousehold items, are on http://pixels.com and premium sites only

Pixels.com is going to become the parent website that sits above all the other websites. As we introduce new products (e.g. iPhone cases, calendars, puzzles, etc.), each new product will appear on Pixels.com. The "fine art" domains will continue to only sell products that fall under the "fine art" heading (e.g. canvas prints, framed prints, etc.)

Just log in using your normal details

You can see more about this in your BEHIND THE SCENES | Domain area

The owner has added a thread about the reasoning behind this here http://fineartamerica.com/showmessages.php?messageid=2530357

I hope this helps

You're welcome and I think that how they have it set up works great. It might not be on the FAA page but the fact that we can offer it through our AW works for me. I have my own domain holdenthemoment.com so when I send my fans/ friends to my site they are able to see all the items. I'm excited about the new products coming out. :)

Hi Abbie ~

Wow! I had somehow missed Sean's discussion thread, Abbie. Thanks so much! It addresses all the various aspects and the rationale! I saved it to my desktop so I can refer to it.

Thanks!

Barbara

Clothing does show up on FAA under "Additional Products"

I'm still a bit confused about the t-shirt thing. Do I need to have a premium site in order to offer t-shirt designs?

Where are the T-shirts made? A customer asked me "Are the shirts made in China? I asked that question because they don't put extra room in the front of the shirt". she is large (2X).

Yes, Edward and Valerie...I have now discovered the t-shirts show up with the other FAA products (at least with the "premium" subscription). Not sure where they --and the other products-- are made, Karen. Excellent question. With FAA being worldwide in its members, usage, and operation, I am guessing that the materials are sourced from a number of countries.

Looks like if you have a t-shirt design, and viewing your FAA account, the clothing only shows if you click on the Prints....Framed prints, canvas prints, etc., and then you see other products and the t-shiirt is there.I am presuming you can buy it from there. If you are viewing under Pixels.com of course the t-shirt is there under clothing and of course buy from there. Is all that correct?

That sounds about right to me, Mary. (I'm still learning --from the rest of you).😊

Abbie, your message above said: The phone cases, and nonhousehold items, are on http://pixels.com and premium sites only but,

Mary pointed out a quirk, that "if you click on the Prints....Framed prints, canvas prints, etc., and then you see other products and the t-shiirt is there" also including cell phones.

If..... "Pixels.com is going to become the parent website that sits above all the other websites. As we introduce new products (e.g. iPhone cases, calendars, puzzles, etc.), each new product will appear on Pixels.com. The "fine art" domains will continue to only sell products that fall under the "fine art" heading (e.g. canvas prints, framed prints, etc.)"
FAA pages shouldn't be showing additional products like Throw pillows, duvets, totes, cellphones or T-shirts under the image when someone clicks on "prints".

I tried to remove the T-shirt by editing the prices to zero while I was logged into FAA, then I went to Pixels and added prices there. When I did, prices and T-shirt was once again available (under additional products) when viewing through FAA. (yes, I logged in and out of both).

I agree, Peter! I've said this many times! FAA should not be showing products that aren't for sale on FAA.
