Thoughts On This Image?

Hi all,

Can you give me your thoughts on this new image of mine?

Sell Art Online

I feel like there is something wrong with it, but I won't say it so I don't influence your thoughts, just want to know if its just my eyes as I've been staring it too long.

Thanks in advance all (as I am guilty of not coming back to say so).

It looks tilted to the left a bit. In your image editor if you can turn on the grid lines you can see it. The balcony rails should be level with the grid lines. Vertical lines to the center should be vertical. If you see on average a tilt to the left or more tilt than should be there just rotate it clockwise and check again. I like mine to 2/100ths of a degree. Otherwise it annoys me.

Thank you Bradford, that is exactly what I thought and its been bugging me, just wanted confirmation from a fresh set of eyes. I will re-edit.

This is what I get for not being square on to the building. Wish I could blame it on the building :)

love the face peering out... transforms the boring block into a den of mystique, a trapped genie or a hareem in residence... all come to mind... maybe a grungier bw process of the rest of the building might emphasise these 2 different worlds.... just my take

Thanks Jason. Yes its a great piece of street art that isn't overly detracting from the street scape (in fact I think it is complimenting) and it only becomes present after hours when the shutter is closed. It's gentrification done classy, trust the Swiss!

I like your point regarding the BW process, I will run it through again as suggested as see how it looks.

Ok, version 2. Better?

I'm no expert, but I think even a teeny tiny tip more to the left would be good but don't lose the circle or triangle in the bottom, whatever you do ... beautiful work.
