Receive Email From Visitor But Can't Reply

I received an email from a visitor who saw my art and asked to buy a print. I wrote them and directed them back to FAA to buy the print. I don't know why they didn't in the first place, unless they saw my painting elsewhere. Anyway their address ends in .com and it came back to me. I'm on Internet Explorer. Why can I not send this email? I have seen this person is on the net under this email address. Why won't Internet Explorer send an email to a .com address? How can I reach this person?

what did the email say? because i already got one guy from nigeria asking for my work, but claiming he's in NC and simply wants art for his wife. i'd have to see the address, but i don't use microsoft to mail things. i use thunderbird.
