I love it and think it will lead to sales in that entire collection of yours. For sure if I was a Westie owner or breeder and saw that image, I would check out the others in the set and I think I'd be unable to resist one or more of them.

Have you sold a print of this one recently? In the past I've seen it suggested that front page Features often happen when something sells and, therefore, gets reviewed - that is the way it comes to the attention of whoever makes the selections; wondering if that's the case here.

That is a good theory Nikolyn. When employees are reviewing images to print, I believe they often choose homepage features. When my Pink Dandelion was put on the homepage, it had never sold. However, not more than an hour ago I had replied to a ton of comments, putting it at the top of the comment graph. However it was chosen, I was very grateful! I am interested to see Edward's response :)

Way to go, Edward! And what an awesome dog. Westies are a wonderful breed. Did you know that Westies and Scotties both descended from Cairn Terriers? The breeds used to be so similar that it wasn't unusual for all three to show up in one litter! :D

Ok as promised. Just as Tiki is slipping off down in the home page rankings as new art is chosen, I did manage to sell a phone case of that one just now.

Views have gone from something like 250 to 2,917 Times. No way to attribute any other sales to it.

JL - yes Westies were breed with a white coat so they would stand out when used in hunting. Terrier means go to ground. They were used for hunting things like rabbits, groundhogs. Westies have a high pitched bark so you can dig them out of a burrow and their tail is firmly attached to be able to pull the out of a hole.

Although they play one on the Ceasar dog food label, don't confuse this breed with lap dogs. These guys are born hunters.

No, but their often-confused-for almost-twin cousins, the bichon frise, ARE lap dogs. In fact, just try to get one OUT of your lap. Or in my case, four out of your lap. Also the comedians of the dog world. You definitely can't discuss quantum physics with them, they take absolutely nothing seriously.
