I think the video leaves out one of the most important elements, passion for what you're doing. He seems to believe that the passion will come automatically with studying your industry and adjusting your attitude. I've been in my job of 25 years, the more I learn about my industry the less I like it, my company could promote me and double my salary and I'd still want out.
