Google+ Acting Up?

I have a Google+ page that I've been adding to semi-regularly. Last night I tried to add one image from my AW and when the box came up with a window to add a description/comment, the window below that, that usually displays a thumb, just showed the URL for the image. I hit submit, checked Google+ and the link showed up there instead of the image. What's up with that? I tried it again today and the same thing happened. It's not like I'm flooding their site or doing anything else that would tend to irk them. Have any of you experienced this?

Yep, same thing on my end. I tried yesterday, but haven't tried since. I thought it had something to do w/ FAA making changes. Figured I'd wait a few days for the dust to settle down.

i either get the tulip pillow or just the description without the image. not sure what the latter looks like, but i do know i've posted that pillow a number of times. enough that i want a cut in the sales.

It happened to me yesterday I haven't tried today.

It has been happening with links from my other POD for a couple of days now. I haven't tried one from here since then.

It's been doing it a few days now. It's the same on both FAA and AW. I now have to upload a small file from my computer with a link to AW. That's the only way to get an image to show. Very annoying

From yesterday I have the same story: a link instead of image. I can not post to G+ not only mine but anyone's picture from FAA or Pixels. I hope it is FAA improving something. LOL.

It is still not working for me. Is this a G+ or a FAA issue?
I don't hope G+ hates FAA :-)

I don't think it's FAA. Linda (MM Anderson) said she tried it from other sites also.

At least 2 days...It will allow me to announce sales from FAA, but nothing else. Weird. and not just FAA, others sites dont work either. :(

Yes, for several days now. I won't post it without the image.

Yes, same with me .. I've been uploading a heavily watermarked, tiny little image.

It''s happening with me since last week. Perhaps G+ is making changes. Wish they'd let us know what's up.

Same here as I previously reported in the "Query And Bug Thread #fresh".

It is still acting up today as well. I also tried from FAA, my AW and one other site with no luck getting an image.

Same here,,,I suspect they are putting a stop to images with links that drive people away from them! They want captive audiences,,,and for people to upload the images where they have control over them!😂

I wish we knew one way or another, Judy, we can then figure out how to work around it. SM is not forgiving and I try not to be absent from the site for too long.

PS I just posted a link in another thread that there is a lot of news reported that google+ is undergoing major structural changes, For one thing they are moving from the circle concept to a stream concept, They have also changed the photos company,,,It used to be google+ photos but now its google photos,,, The article states what the difference is and will be but it is rather vague in my opinion,,, I do believe that these changes are what has impacted our posting abilities,Here is one of the articles,,,

google works ok on the sales page, but not on any other page, oddly. however on the sales page it wants to center itself, when i scroll down to say ok, it jumps back to the top of the page, which is rather annoying.

Mike: You mentioned Google works on the Sales page.....is that something that pertains to buying ads with them? This might seem like a silly question, but I have always had a hard time understanding Google. They use a lot of terminology I just don't get......I admit I have fallen behind miserably keeping myself up to date on technology changes and lingo. SE

I've been on G+ for several years but recently only used it sparingly. I went there about a week ago and found that my thousands of followers in a bunch of circles are all gone. No named circles and no followers. I've asked on their help site but no help is forthcoming. Anybody here have any ideas?

Mary Jo, I wish these big sites cared about their users but I'm afraid they operate under the Ivory Tower method. Seems they don't feel obliged to pay their customers/members/users the courtesy of a heads-up when they make changes. We get to find out the hard way. Guess they can get away with that lack of respect if they feel they are the only act in town.

Google+ is dying a slow death. Nobody's interested, and nobody cares, least of all Google. Not to mention that Google as a company has a nasty habit of coming out with really cool new technologies only to unceremoniously dump them. The reason for that is their internal corporate culture. It's a playground/think tank that people get paid to work in. And we're the beta testers.
