Getting Started

I have uploaded my artwork but I do not think I am labeling it correctly. 1st I do not know what to put next to the word Tag it automatically puts in my keywords..I want all my stuff to be under impressionism when someone shops...so far I have 1 follower...is it possible for someone to go into my work and find out what I am doing wrong

I think that your work is awesome, but your one gallery needs a GALLERY picture or gallery thumbnail to visually represent the gallery. Currently, when somebody clicks on your profile page, they get that generic blue stamp thingie, which does nothing for your art. The gallery needs a cover photo, in other words. Do it now.

As for tags, ... the one image that I clicked on had "impressionism" as the first tag.

YOUR definition of "impressionism" might be your own too, because many people would classify what you do as "abstract".

Great work! As Robert suggested you need an image for the gallery. Also I'd suggest that you should not limit your art to impressionism only. I see that its spiritual too, so add that tag too.It will reach more people.

Also, list your name in your tags, the colors you've used (many art buyers shop for specific colors), and with abstract work you can also add feelings/emotions/shapes, etc. For instance:

blue, yellow, green, orange, mystery, mysterious, contemplative, pensive, circle, round, orb, sphere, . . . (just examples; not related to your actual images)

You can use any word or phrase that legitimately relates to your image. You never know how a potential buyer might search -- best to cover all your bases.

You do have some great images there.
You need to fill in the description of the image one worn isn't enough.Describe what you were feeling or imagining when you were creating it.
As the others have said do get a gallery picture not the blue splodge

With 21 images, you may want to default to images view. With the one gallery, it adds an extra click to get to your work.

The other thing I saw was that your prices are pretty low. If you don't value your work, who else will? Go through some other artists sites here whose style us similar and see what pricing they use.

To go this, click on Show Price Details that is near the price if an image

Welcome! Since you only have one gallery, it would look better to set the default to your image page. Go behind the scenes to default settings to change to images rather than galleries.

You can choose a logo image for your gallery thumbnail. Edit your gallery and then choose a logo image.

yeah, having only 1 gallery is a bit sad looking. i'd either add more, or start people in the images section. be sure to add a cover graphic on the gallery though. be sure to add a bio.

add descriptions to everything. abstract is a tough sell, but describing it may help. the tags are where the keywords go, add commas, no spaces. fill them in. you have very few.
